Lime Plastering
Traditional vapour-permeable lime plastering for heritage Welsh stone and brick properties.
Heritage Welsh buildings were designed to breathe — cement renders and gypsum plasters trap moisture inside solid walls and accelerate damage to lime mortar and stone.
We apply lime parge coats to flatten and seal solid-wall substrates ready for internal insulation, and finish heritage internal wall insulation projects with two coats of lime plaster with an embedded mesh. Lime works hand-in-hand with our vapour-open IndiTherm Hemp system and is essential on listed and pre-1919 properties where moisture management matters more than raw thermal numbers.
Benefits
- Vapour-permeable finish for solid-wall and heritage homes
- Parge coats for pre-IWI substrate preparation
- Two-coat lime plaster with embedded mesh as standard
- Compatible with vapour-open IndiTherm Hemp systems
- Aftercare guidance on lime wash and breathable paints
- Ideal for listed buildings and conservation areas
