Old mineral-wool cavity fills, badly installed bonded bead and damp-contaminated material can actively make a home colder and trigger penetrating damp on the inner wall.
We extract the existing insulation cleanly using industrial vacuum equipment, working through a controlled drill pattern and inspecting the full cavity with a borescope to confirm the void is empty before we sign off. The cavity is then ready to be re-filled with a modern non-absorbent EPS bead system or left open if a different wall solution is being installed.
