We use Energystore or Evobead Expanded Polystyrene Beads to fill the cavity wall void, significantly reducing heat loss through the walls of suitable properties.
Because the beads are entirely non-absorbent, moisture isn't able to pass through to the inner leaf of the wall construction like it can with older mineral-wool cavity insulation products.
All properties are carefully surveyed before installation — externally and also inside the cavity itself with a borescope camera — to ensure the system is suitable.

Process
- Step 01
Sub-floor ventilation bricks are removed and sleeved through the cavity to maintain airflow to the sub-floor after installation.
- Step 02
Any dMEV extractor fan holes are cored out where required.
- Step 03
Walls are drilled in the appropriate fill pattern following manufacturer's instructions, and the entire cavity is checked with a borescope to ensure no rubble is bridging the damp-proof course.
- Step 04
Walls are filled from the bottom up with EPS bead and holes are filled with colour-matched mortar.
- Step 05
dMEV fans are wired up by our qualified electrician and a minor works certificate is issued.
